17 Aug 2024: Advance Tertiary College (ATC) organised its annual Legal Careers Fair which drew an overwhelming turnout of close to 250 attendees. Many law students and graduates from local public and private law institutions were seen actively seeking career advice, internships and pupillage opportunities during the Fair.
In sync with ATC’s continuous commitment in offering holistic legal education and experience, this yearly event is aimed at providing all aspiring lawyers a platform to seek and secure career opportunities, and importantly, network with prominent members of the legal fraternity.
This year, our Careers Fair was graced by Federal Court Judge, YA Datuk Vazeer Alam bin Mydin Meera. Through an enlightening Keynote Address, His Lordship Judge juxtaposed his personal journey with that of our attendees in order to share valuable advice. His Lordship emphasised the importance of hard work, perseverance, professional ethics and fellowship in making one’s way into and through the world of legal practice. Citing the ATC’s Legal Careers Fair as an example, His Lordship advised the attendees to seize the many resources and opportunities available to them in this modern world to chart their respective careers. In affirming the theme of the Fair, His Lordship reminded the attendees to make the right choices by speaking with the right people, who have the right knowledge and experience.
Speaking of the right people with the right experience, ATC is immensely proud to have brought together a total of 23 esteemed law firms and legal organisations under the same roof for the event. ATC sincerely attributes the success of this year’s Fair to the collective efforts and contribution of all our participating law firms and organisations who did not only open-heartedly shared insights into their respective expertise and culture, but also provided invaluable guidance, career advice and opportunities to many aspiring lawyers.
ATC wishes to express its utmost gratitude to …
