We were honored to host Yang Arif Dato’ Anand Ponnudurai, Judge of the High Court of Malaya at Penang, who delivered an insightful talk to 80 of our LLB and CLP students at our Penang Campus.
Yang Arif emphasized the essential soft skills that Advocates & Solicitors must possess to uphold the profession’s status and moral values in court.
Among the key points discussed were the importance of writing persuasively, maintaining integrity and honesty, avoiding promises that cannot be kept, practicing strong time management skills, and remaining humble at all times. His wisdom and charisma left a lasting impression on all who attended.
