On the 7th of August 2021, ALSA ATC invited Ms Azi Azlin Zulkifli, a Criminal Defense Attorney at Messrs Azi Azlin and Mr Syahredzan Johan, a partner at Messrs Ram Caroline Sha & Syah to give a talk on “Police Powers & Citizens’ Rights” to raise awareness surrounding the topic.
The talk was filled with information, especially the insights on the process of arrest and how we can protect our rights when being arrested, as well as the issue on abuse of police powers and its reform.
The talk was hosted by Sherri Lee and moderated by ALSA ATC’s own Danial Goh.
