ATC welcomed approximately 50 final-year school students to its KL campus for the Junior Lawyers Workshop, co-organised with EduAdvisor.
A Hands-On Introduction to Lawmaking and Debate
The workshop, now in its second edition, proved to be an even bigger success than the previous one. Participants learnt how laws are made in Parliament and took part in a hands-on parliamentary debate, where they were divided into members of the government and the opposition to debate a piece of legislation.
Building Advocacy Skills Through Moot Court
Participants then developed their advocacy skills through a moot court session, where they were divided into prosecution and defence teams to argue a fictitious case.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Law Students
All participants enjoyed the workshop and gained a meaningful learning experience. Those interested in joining future workshops may get in touch with EduAdvisor or contact ATC directly.
