ATC organised a webinar entitled Intellectual Property Law and Practice that was conducted by Ms. Irene Kam, Partner at Messrs Azri, Lee Swee Seng and Co and Part-Time Lecturer at ATC. The talk was attended by approximately 150 students and guests and was conducted via the Zoom platform.
Ms. Irene took the participants on a journey through Intellectual Property (IP) Law explaining the intricacies of Copyright, Patents, Design Rights, Trade Marks and other areas of the law. She entertained the audience with interesting examples of each and drew upon local cases and examples.
She went on to give our students an insight as to what it is like to be an IP practitioner and she went through all major aspects of IP practice like, litigation, advisory, IP prosecution and IP enforcement.
The students benefited greatly from this session. ATC thanks Ms. Irene Kam for her time and generosity.
