Six teams from the UK Transfer LLB programme stepped into the Moot Court, tackling a complex and thought-provoking family dispute that tested not just their legal knowledge, but also their judgment, empathy, and advocacy skills.
The moot problem centred on a deeply contested parental disagreement involving a mother’s proposed relocation with a rather unconventional new partner, and a sensitive medical decision on the treatment of a child’s eczema. As always, the law is only part of the story. The real challenge lies in balancing rights, welfare, and reason.
After a series of intense rounds, we are proud to announce that the Finalists are:
Char Kway Teow Counsel, Applicant
v
Charlie’s Angels, Respondent
The Final Round will take place on Tuesday, 31st March 2026, at our Penang campus. Students are welcome to watch. However, seats are limited.
Expect sharp arguments, strategic advocacy, and a showcase of what future lawyers are truly capable of.
Let the best team win.
